- Your competitors track the same signals
Meet the people behind the campaigns
In our previous Forge Experts edition, Jānis Plūme shared his LinkedIn campaign.
This week, we have invited Grigorij Altshuler from RevSculpt to share how he approaches signal-based outreach, from choosing companies to writing the first email.
Find signals specific to your offer
Your competitors can track funding and job changes too.
Look at your recent customers. What happened before they started looking for a solution?
Use that to find similar companies through reviews, forum complaints or upcoming license renewals.
Check fit before reaching out
Check the company's size, industry and tools. Then look for evidence of a problem you solve.
Funding and a complaint about an existing solution tell you different things. Together, they show both timing and need.
Move fast, but start small
We use Leadsforge to send lists straight into Salesforge, avoiding delays from exporting and uploading spreadsheets.
Test with 50 companies manually first. Check whether the replies support your assumptions before automating.
Write about the problem
Skip the funding congratulations. Explain the problem you may be able to help with, add a real customer result and make a small ask.
If someone visits your pricing page, help them choose a plan or try the product.
The campaign results
Here is how one of our campaigns performed.
We sent 2,456 emails.
We received 167 replies, a 6.8% reply rate.
55 replies were positive, roughly 33% of all replies.
