- Which pre-warmed mailboxes should you buy?
Which type fits your campaigns?
If you want to launch a campaign or test a new idea quickly, you might not have time to wait for fresh mailboxes to warm up.
That is when I tell teams to use pre-warmed mailboxes. The initial warmup is already done, so you can get started sooner.
There are different types of pre-warmed mailboxes available. Here is how I would choose between them.
1. Scale without spending too much
If you need more senders on a smaller budget, I’d consider pre-warmed mailboxes on shared infrastructure.
The initial warmup is already done, so you can start with a small batch of emails and gradually increase your sending volume.
2. Keep your sending options open
For a new campaign, I would include pre-warmed Google or Microsoft accounts alongside shared or dedicated mailboxes.
If delivery drops on one setup, you already have another provider available, with the initial warmup completed. You do not have to start preparing fresh accounts at that point.
3. Start with your own sending setup
For a client or campaign that needs private infrastructure, I would choose pre-warmed mailboxes with dedicated IPs.
You get your own sending IPs and mailboxes that are already warmed up.
What I would start with
Start with a small mix and keep the audience and message comparable.
Look at which accounts bring in useful replies, then add more of what is working.
