Outbound works best when your message follows the prospect around.

Not just lands once and fades away...

Here’s a common mistake: Sales teams split their outreach into email vs. LinkedIn: two isolated channels, two disconnected messages, and zero context.

That’s not multi-channel. That’s fragmented communication.

If your cold outreach only touches one inbox, you’re gambling on timing and luck. But when email and LinkedIn work together, you build presence, credibility, and momentum - and your reply rates prove it.

As we’re getting ready to launch LinkedIn outreach in Salesforge (😈), it’s time to talk about why you should invest in multi-channel outreach and how to do it the right way.

Let’s dive in!

New Features in Salesforge 🚨

1. Improved Auto-Labeling Accuracy in Primebox

We’ve fixed issues with Salesforge auto-labeling in Primebox where replies were often mislabeled, like negative responses or wrong contacts being marked as positive.

What’s improved:

  • More accurate detection of reply intent

  • Labels like “Positive,” “Negative,” “Wrong Contact” and others are now applied correctly

2. Lightning Fast Analytics in Salesforge

Analytics pages were loading too slowly or sometimes not loading at all when opening sequences or agents. That’s now fixed.

What’s improved:

  • Major performance boost to the Analytics page

  • Loads at least 50x faster and in most cases instant!

3. Auto-Fill Product Cards with company website URL

Filling out the Product Card used to be a blocker, many users skipped it or filled out vaguely or with low-quality info. Which meant they never tried AI emails in Salesforge manual sequences, and Agent Frank emails often ended up low quality. We’ve fixed that.

What’s new:

  • Just paste your company’s website URL and we’ll autofill the Product Card using AI

  • The system uses our checks and recommendations to generate high-quality content

  • You can review, edit, and validate the info before saving

  • If critical info is missing, the system will flag it so you can fix it

  • If scraping fails, the checks remain, so you still know what needs attention

4. "Reply All" Support for Multiple TO: Recipients in Primebox

We’ve improved the reply experience in Primebox. now when there’s more than one recipient in the To:, you’ll see a “Reply All” button, not just for multiple CCs

5. Free Trial Extended to 14 days

We’ve upgraded our free trial offering to give users more time to explore the platform and unlock full value.

What’s new:

  • 14-day standard free trial (up from 7 days)

  • +7 days for completing the Salesforge Academy quiz

  • +7 days for inviting a user to your workspace

That’s up to 28 days of free access to explore the product.

Why combine LinkedIn and cold email?

1. Repetition without spam

Prospects rarely reply on the first touch. Combining LinkedIn with email lets you repeat your message without spamming the same channel.

2. Warmed up cold emails

If someone sees your name on LinkedIn before they get your email, your open rate jumps and your message lands with more trust.

3. More reply paths

Some people never reply to email. Others ignore LinkedIn DMs. Multi-channel ensures you're hitting their preferred inbox - not guessing.

4. Personalized, not pushy

Cold email builds the case. LinkedIn delivers the context. Together, they feel less like a sequence - and more like real outreach.

Best practices for combining email + LinkedIn

1. Keep messaging aligned, not repetitive

Don’t copy/paste your cold email into a DM. Reference the email briefly (“Just sent you a note about…”) and use LinkedIn to personalize further, ask a softer question, or comment on something timely.

2. Sequence it thoughtfully

LinkedIn shouldn’t be an afterthought. Build it into your sequence logic:

  • Day 1: Send cold email

  • Day 2: View LinkedIn profile

  • Day 3: Follow

  • Day 5: Send connection request

  • Day 7: Send DM referencing your email

This type of orchestration boosts reply rates without being intrusive.

3. Use signals for smart timing

If a lead engages with your post or accepts your connection - that’s your moment to follow up. Leverage signal-based triggers (like LinkedIn activity or CRM updates) to time your outreach across both channels.

4. Track multi-channel touchpoints

Your CRM or outreach platform should track both cold email and LinkedIn activity in the same thread - otherwise, you’re flying blind. (And yes - we’re solving that next, you will have access to all messages in Primebox, one view, all the threads)

What works in 2025 for cold email:

Email alone gets ignored. LinkedIn alone gets buried.
But together, they build trust, visibility, and conversion momentum.

If you’re serious about outbound, it’s time to stop picking channels and start orchestrating across them.
