- More AI. Same GTM friction
More AI. Same GTM friction
Faster steps. Same slow motion.
Everyone is calling this the year of AI in GTM.
That part is fair. McKinsey’s latest survey says 78% of organizations are already using AI in at least one business function.
What I keep seeing is the same outbound motion with AI added to every step.
AI writes the email.
AI scores the lead.
AI drafts the reply.
So yes, each step got faster.
But the motion itself did not change.
And that was the problem to begin with.
The list gets built in one tool. Replies land in another. The CRM gets updated in a third. Meetings get booked somewhere else. Speeding up one step does not fix the handoffs between all of them.
AI sits inside the system, not on top of it.
That is why this matters.
A lot of the conversation right now is about what AI can do on its own. The better question is what happens when the full motion has to run end to end.
So these next two sessions are useful for a reason.
Build your GTM AI Agent in 60min
I’m doing a live session with Philipp Hirte and Tim Scheuer from Copia AI on what it actually takes to build a GTM AI agent that fits into real work.
Generate Replies. Close Deals. Build a Real Outbound Engine.
I’m doing a live session with Deborah Stiernon from HubSpot for Startups on what a real outbound engine needs to drive more replies, more meetings, and more pipeline.
This is what outbound looks like when the full stack runs as one system.
