How to use Claude Code for cold outreach

Building a cold outreach campaign usually takes longer than it should.

Step 1: Start with a proper targeting prompt

Start with who you want to reach.

Not just title and country.

Be clear on the company type, employee range, geography, and what those companies actually sell.

Step 2: Turn the audience into one clear angle

Once the audience is clear, the next job is the angle.

What is the one thing this group should care about?

That matters because most weak sequences do not fail on the wording. They fail because there is no clear reason behind them.

Step 3: Build the sequence around that angle

Now tell Claude Code exactly what kind of campaign you want it to build.

Be specific about the number of steps, which channels to use, what each step should do, how the message should progress, and what should not happen.

For example, the sequence should not repeat the same point in every step. The LinkedIn touches should support the email angle. The follow-ups should move the conversation forward, not just ask again.

Step 4: Review in App and launch

Once the campaign is ready, open the app and review everything properly.

Check the audience.
Review the sequence.
Tighten the messaging.
Fix anything that feels off.
Then launch.

That is the real use case.
