What changed in outbound this year

1. More teams lead with outbound

Outbound gained more ground this year than almost any other GTM motion. More teams now pick it as their main way to build pipeline, while PLG and account-based both lost share.

2. Cold outreach filled this list

Respondents listed what did not work for them this year, and cold outreach came up more than any other channel. Simple cold outreach, sent without signals or hyper-personalization, is not working anymore.

The report's scorecard tells the same story. It marks cold outreach as over-saturated and signal-based outbound as the next big thing.

3. Signals are where the budget is going

Teams are moving to signals because signals show who is likely to buy now. When you contact someone during a hiring push, a leadership change or a spike in engagement, the timing is already on your side.
