How to steal your competitor's customers

Copy this exact playbook.

Today I’m sharing the exact playbook that has been generating great results for us.

It is simple, repeatable, and you can copy the full process for your own outbound campaigns.

Here’s how to run it:

1. Pick the right competitors

Start with 3–5 companies selling to the same audience as you.

Look for:

  • Direct competitors

  • Bigger names in your category

  • Companies with a strong LinkedIn following

Do not chase follower count alone.

You need followers who could actually buy from you.

2. Pull their audience with Leadsforge

Add the competitor’s company website or LinkedIn profile in Leadsforge.

Pull and enrich their followers with work emails, LinkedIn profiles, phone numbers, and company data.

Then filter the enriched list by:

  • Job title

  • Seniority

  • Location

  • Industry

  • Company size

Once you have the right people, export the list or import it directly into Salesforge.

3. Warm them up, then go multichannel

Do not pitch them on day one.

Start with a few LinkedIn touches, then add email.

Day 1: Visit their profile
Day 2: Like a relevant post
Day 3: Send a connection request
Day 5: LinkedIn message
Day 7: Email
Day 10: LinkedIn follow-up
Day 13: Email follow-up

Your first message can be simple:

“You follow [Competitor]. Do you use them?”

We ran this exact competitor-follower play ourselves.
