MCP or CLI for Outbound?

Some teams prefer MCP.

Some teams prefer CLI.

Both make sense.

Why this matters for outbound

A lot of GTM teams are now running parts of outbound through Claude and MCP.

That makes sense when the work needs context across tools.

But outbound also has a lot of repeatable work that comes back every day or every week, where the process is already clear and very little context is needed.

This is where CLI becomes useful.

Where MCP still fits

MCP is still useful when the task needs context across tools.

But once the process is known and repeated, CLI is usually the cleaner way to run it.

Use MCP when the task needs context.

Use CLI when the task needs repetition.
