January is when most teams turn everything back on.

First, infrastructure.

Domains, mailboxes, and LinkedIn accounts should already be warm, stable, and consistent. If you plan to scale volume in January, the warm-up window needed to start weeks ago - not after New Year’s Day.

Second, targeting.

If you’re reusing the same lists from October or November, expect weaker results. Roles change, companies shift priorities, and intent decays fast. Fresh targeting beats new copy every time.

Third, sequences.

You don’t need brand-new messaging. You need sequences that adapt - follow-ups that make sense, channel shifts that feel natural, and logic that responds to prospect behavior instead of blasting everyone the same way.
