AI changes outbound. The basics matter even more.
Every other call this month, someone tells me they're running outbound from Claude. Or their terminal.
Then a few minutes in, the same line every time. Reply rates haven't moved. Meetings aren't coming.
I get it. My own workflow looks nothing like it did a year ago either.
But faster sending doesn't fix a bad list. Or a weak offer. Or follow-ups that read like everyone else's. It just gets you to the same reply rate quicker.
The questions haven't changed. Is the list sharp enough. Is there a real reason to reach out. Do the follow-ups actually go somewhere.
The basics still matter.
